Welcome to Hillsboro State Bank's online banking enrollment.

Hillsboro State Bank Internet Banking Enrollment Agreement ("Agreement") governs use of the Hillsboro State Bank Internet Banking Service. As used in this document, the words "you" and "your" refer to Hillsboro State Bank's customer (s) and their use of the Service. The words "we" and "our" refer to Hillsboro State Bank ("HSB").

INTRODUCTION - This Agreement explains the terms and conditions governing the online Internet Banking Service offered through Hillsboro State Bank. By using the Service, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The terms and conditions of the deposit agreement and disclosures for each of your accounts held at Hillsboro State Bank as well as any other agreements with Hillsboro State Bank, such as for loans, etc., continue to apply notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement. This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Federal laws and regulations, or to the extent there is no applicable Federal law or regulation, by the laws of the State of Kansas. By accepting below or otherwise using the Service, you agree to use the Service only for bona fide and lawful purposes permitted under this Agreement.

INTERNET BROWSER REQUIREMENT - For your privacy and protection, Hillsboro State Bank requires your browser to support 128-bit encryption. If you do not know how your browser is set, please contact your browser supplier and ask them for instructions on setting your browser for 128-bit encryption. Links to Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator download sites are provided on the login page for the Service. You are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of your computer and your browser software. The risk of error, failure, or nonperformance is your personal risk and includes, but is not limited to, the risk that you do not operate your computer or your software properly. Hillsboro State Bank is not responsible for any problems related to electronic virus (es)) that may infect your system. Hillsboro State Bank makes no warranty to you regarding your computer or your software.

ACCESS - To use this Service, you must have a Hillsboro State Bank account and have access to Internet services. Once you have accepted this Agreement, we will send you by postal service, confirmation of your enrollment along with an assigned user ID and a temporary password.

E-MAIL - E-mail is provided so you can ask questions about your account (s)) and for general feedback. E-mail is accessible after you login to Hillsboro State Bank. E-mail transmissions outside of the Internet Banking Service site are not secure. We advise you not to send or ask us for sensitive information such as account numbers, password, account information, etc. via any general or public e-mail system. Therefore, to ensure the security of your account information, you are required to use the secure e-mail within our HSB system when asking specific questions about your account (s)). E-mail cannot be used to initiate transactions on your account (s)). You should not rely on general or public e-mail for banking transactions; you must use the appropriate functions within the HSB Internet Banking Service or call the bank.

STOP PAYMENTS - If you wish to put a Stop Payment Order on a check that you have written you must use the Stop Payment feature within HSB's Internet Banking Service, call the bank or come into the bank. Stop Payment Orders cannot be requested via e-mail. To stop payment on a pre-authorized electronic debit transaction, you must revoke that authorization by notifying the company in the manner specified in the authorization. For HSB to return the pre-authorized debit, you will need to sign a "Written Statement Under Penalty of Perjury" form available at the bank. You may come into the bank to attain this form or request a form by mail. Stop Payment Orders initiated on a business day through this Service before 2:00 p.m. Central Time will become effective at 2:30 p.m. the same business day. All Stop Payment Orders initiated after 2:00 p.m. Central Time or on a Saturday, Sunday or banking holiday will become effective the next business day.

YOUR PASSWORD - You will be given a temporary password and user ID to access your Hillsboro State Bank account (s)). For security purposes, you will be required to change your password and setup a new user ID when you initially login. Your new password will be determined by you and will not be accessible by Hillsboro State Bank.

Your USER ID is CASE SENSITIVE and must be AT LEAST 6 CHARACTERS in length and contain at least 1 ALPHA and 1 NUMERIC or SPECIAL CHARACTER.

Your PASSWORD is CASE SENSITIVE and must also be AT LEAST 6 CHARACTERS in length, contain at least 4 ALPHA and 2 NUMERIC CHARACTERS.

You are responsible for keeping your password, account number (s)) and other account information confidential. You also agree to change your password regularly. You agree not to give or make available your password or other means to access your account to any unauthorized individuals. If you permit other persons to use the Service or your password or other means to access your account, you are responsible for  any transactions they authorize. AT NO TIME WILL HILLSBORO STATE BANK OR ANY EMPLOYEE OF HILLSBORO STATE BANK CONTACT YOU TO REQUEST YOUR PASSWORD OR YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER (S)) BY E-MAIL, TELEPHONE OR MAIL SERVICE FOR ANY REASON.

Upon three (3) unsuccessful attempts to use your password, your access to HSB Internet Banking will be revoked. To re-establish your authorization to use HSB Internet Banking, to report that your password may have been lost or stolen, or to report that someone has transferred or may transfer money from your account without your permission, IMMEDIATELY notify Hillsboro State Bank at (620) 947-3961.

SECURITY - Your role in preventing misuse of your account (s)) is extremely important. Examine your statements promptly upon receipt. If you find that your records and Hillsboro State Bank's disagree, immediately call us. In addition to protecting your account information, you agree to take precautions to protect your personal identification information,  such as your driver's license, social security number, etc. This information by itself or together with information on your account (s)) may allow unauthorized access to your account (s)). You agree to notify Hillsboro State Bank immediately if you believe another person has improperly obtained your password.

SERVICES - With internet banking, you can manage your account (s)) from your home or office on your personal computer. You can view account balances and transaction histories, transfer money between your accounts, (as noted in the applicable account deposit agreement and disclosure statement), order U.S. Savings Bonds, set up personal reminders, request a change to customer information we have on file, change your password, track your online banking activity, and/or communicate directly with Hillsboro State Bank through secure e-mail.

FEES & CHARGES - There are currently no additional fees for accessing your accounts through Hillsboro State Bank Internet Banking Service. Refer to the Truth-In-Savings Disclosure for the fee schedule for your type of account.

OVERDRAFTS - If your account has insufficient funds to perform all electronic funds transfers (ATM withdrawals, pre-authorized transactions, debit card transactions, online banking transfers, etc.) requested for a given business day, then certain electronic funds transfers involving currency disbursement, like ATM withdrawals, will have priority, and the electronic funds transfers initiated through this service may result in overdrawing your account and/or may, at Hillsboro State Bank's discretion and without prior notification to you, be canceled. In addition, all overdraft charges that apply will be debited from your account.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - Hillsboro State Bank makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, in connection with the internet banking services provided to you under this Agreement. We do not and cannot warrant that Hillsboro State Bank will operate without errors or that any or all inline services will be available and operational at all times. Except as specifically provided in the Agreement or where the law requires a different standard, you agree that neither we, or the service providers, shall be responsible for any loss, property damage, or bodily injury whether caused by the equipment, software, Internet browser providers, Internet access providers, online service providers, or by an agent or subcontractor of any of the foregoing. Nor shall we or the service providers be responsible for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, economic or other damages arising in any way out of the installation, use or maintenance of the equipment, software, online financial services, or Internet browser or access software.

HOURS OF ACCESS - You can access your Hillsboro State Bank account (s)) through this Service seven days a week, 24 hours a day. However, at certain times, some or all of the online banking bay not be available due to system maintenance or other problems.

POSTING OF TRANSFERS - A transfer initiated on a business day through this Service before 2:00 p.m. Central Time is posted to your account the same day. All transfers completed after 2:00 p.m. Central Time or on a Saturday, Sunday or banking holiday will be posted the next business day.

TRANSFERRING FUNDS - Transfers may be subject to limitations based on individual account types as outlined in the Truth-In- Savings Disclosure.

OBTAINING ACCOUNT BALANCES and TRANSACTION HISTORIES - You can obtain balances and transaction histories on all eligible accounts. Current balance and activity information will normally be available after 5:00 p.m. Central Time on business days.

CHANGES IN TERMS - We reserve the right to change any terms or conditions described in this Agreement. We may send any notice of change to you via e-mail and you will be deemed to have received it three days after it is sent. The revised terms and conditions shall be effective at the earliest date allowed by applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement and your use of the Services in whole or in part at any time without prior notice.

YOUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE - You may cancel your service at any time by providing us with written notice sent by postal mail to Hillsboro State Bank, P.O. Box 158, Hillsboro, KS 67063 - Attention: Online Banking Customer Service; or by fax at (620) 947-2512. Within three (3) business days of receiving instructions, your access to online banking will be suspended. You may also cancel your service by calling (620) 947-3961.

OUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE - Your online banking access may be canceled by Hillsboro State Bank at any time, without prior notice and for any reason. After cancellation, online banking services may be reinstated at Hillsboro State Bank's discretion. To reinstate your service, call us at (620) 947-3961. If you do not access your Hillsboro State Bank account (s)) through our internet banking service for a one-year period, HSB reserves the right to disconnect your service without notice.

CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF NOTICES - By accepting below or by otherwise using the service, you also agree that any and all disclosures and communications regarding the service between you and Hillsboro State Bank, including this Agreement, may be made electronically by posting to the Hillsboro State Bank web site in accordance with applicable law. Any electronic disclosure or communication we make will be considered made when transmitted by Hillsboro State Bank, and any disclosure or communication we make by posting to our web site will be considered made when posted by Hillsboro State Bank.
